Has Sweden ever, over the two zillion years since the conception of the universe, produced a less-than-decent art-pop band? The latest export are the rather more-quirky-than-usual Envelopes. Borrowing it's erm, inspiration from Trio's Da Da Da, Free Jazzis as spiky and wilful as the title suggests, with singer Audrey yelping lines like 'I see these brand new faces, I want to wear them' amid an irresistable kitsch-tronic onslaught. Catchy as cooties. NME
